Premium SMS PIN Applications

Mobile Phone and Web Content

When the consumer has received their PIN number a variety of mechanisms are available for product delivery dependant on the product or service type:

Mobile Content

Mobile content such as SMS messages, binary SMS (ringtones, logos), WAP bookmarks and MMS content can be provided directly from the PIN number. Using a web access system suppliers can integrate with in-house or third party gateways.

Web Content

Once their PIN number is input via a web form and authenticated, the consumer will be redirected to the purchased premium content web site or web pages. A time limit for viewing the content is determined by the product code, having been set in the online administration.

Web Download

If the premium content is downloadable from the web the PIN number can be delivered to the supplier's servers by Email or HTTP enabling the download.

Pay for Product

The billing process can also collect Information such as the postcode, house number and phone number. Completion of a web form can provide any additional information required to despatch the product. An email can then provide the supplier with all the order information for order fulfilment.

Pay for Ticket

Proof of purchase is the consumer's PIN number. Valid PIN codes for tickets can be supplied by email or HTTP directly to entry systems. Tickets can be self-printed for presentation by the customer if the ticket purchase is via a web site.
